Advice for Parents:
This exciting time marks a major transition for both your child and you. Embrace your child's growing independence - give them space to stretch their wings and build life skills, even if mistakes happen. College will definitely be a time of change, so even if it seems as if your child's priorites have evolved, they will always need your support and love to thrive in college and later in life. They will also always have the support of their fellow classmates and campus resources through their undergraduate and graduate experiences! When things seem out of control, take a deep breath, gently guide, step back when needed, and be proud of the incredible person emerging. (feel free to edit as needed!)
