Did you know that Georgia Tech sends more than 2,000 students abroad each year? Tech encourages students to become global citizens and gain international experience, but it is also important that students stay on track toward their degree and obtain the top-notch educational experience that Tech provides. So, why not give your student the best of both worlds: a semester at Georgia Tech-Europe, Tech’s campus in France!
Georgia Tech-Europe is located in historic Metz, France, just 90 minutes from Paris by train. Students from all majors can study at Georgia Tech-Europe any semester and all credits transfer seamlessly, as well as most financial aid. Have a student that doesn’t speak French? No problem! Courses are taught in English by Georgia Tech faculty and no French language skills are necessary.
Classes are generally held four days per week, with long weekends open for independent travel. Students can take advantage of Metz’ central location to travel around France and to other nearby countries, immersing themselves in European culture as they go.
