Dear Parents and Families:
Welcome to a new academic year at Georgia Tech!
Four years ago, we began our higher education journey at Georgia Tech with our son, Taj. Through his experiences at Georgia Tech, we have seen him develop and grow. He has made new friends and had wonderful experiences that have prepared him for a successful career, a life of service and accomplishment. He has become an independent adult and a serious learner. We are proud of him and grateful to Georgia Tech.
For those who are just beginning your journey with your student at Georgia Tech….
We know firsthand the experience of seeing your child go off to college. Please know that they are in good hands. The administration, faculty and staff at Tech take seriously the trust you’ve placed in them and are committed to helping your student continue their academic success. Our students are at one of the leading technological research institutions in the world. They, and you, will find it’s an amazing place comprised of amazing people.
For those who are continuing your journey with your student at Georgia Tech…..
We encourage you to stay involved and active in the Yellow Jacket community as this will benefit both your student and your family.
An important component of Georgia Tech’s recipe for success is parental involvement through volunteer service and personal giving. We invite you to join us in demonstrating your support through active participation in the Georgia Tech Parents Association. As the parent of a new Yellow Jacket or a returning Yellow Jacket, we welcome you and encourage you to offer your wisdom, time, and philanthropy.
For more information on how you can give or become involved, please visit our website.
Best wishes for a successful year! Go Jackets!
Sincerely,
Aleem and Cindy Gillani
