Do I have to register my student(s) for Family Weekend?
Yes! A Georgia Tech student registration is required for in order for your family to attend Family Weekend. We have planned these events to be for your entire family, and this is a great time for your family to connect with your Georgia Tech student(s). We encourage you to ask your student(s) about any conflicting exams, papers or other events that my conflict before registering for Family Weekend.

When does Family Weekend registration open and close?
Family Weekend Registration will open at 9am on Friday, September 1st and will close on Thursday, October 12 at 11:59 P.M. NOTE: Some Family Weekend Events may be closed early due to capacity issues.

How much does Family Weekend cost?
Family Weekend Registration Fee: Adult $30 per person; GT Student $15* per person; Youth (ages 8-17) $10 per person. Children 7 and under are free with registered guests. *GT Student Registration is required for participation.

Arts@Tech Hosts Siro-A – Friday, October 27
The award-winning Japanese phenomenon SIRO-A is renowned for mind-blowing performances combining visual effects, mime, dance, comedy, puppetry, and high-energy music. A vast projection screen acts as a backdrop, and the production utilizes video-mapping, light animation, laser effects and 3D video projection. SIRO-A attracted millions of views on You Tube for their “technodelic” appearances on America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent. $30 - Adult Ticket ($45.00 Value) | $10 - GT Student Ticket (GT Student)/Youth

Sunrise Breakfast at Renaissance Atlanta Midtown – Sunday, October 29
Before you go, have a meal with us! Dine with other Georgia Tech families and enjoy a delicious brunch buffet at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel before heading home. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. $20.00 - Adult Ticket | $15.00 - GT Student Ticket/Youth (ages 8-17)

Jazz Brunch with Dean Stein – Sunday, October 29
Wrap-Up Family Weekend with the Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students, John Stein and a jazz performance by Georgia Tech students.  Enjoy a delicious brunch buffet, mingle with other Georgia Tech families and wrap up the weekend with your Georgia Tech student before buzzing home. Brunch will begin at 10:30 A.M. and a short program will follow. $20.00 - Adult Ticket | $15.00 - GT Student Ticket/Youth (ages 8-17)

What is included in the Family Weekend 2017 Registration Fee?

What if I need to cancel my registration, can I get a refund?
Parent & Family Programs strives to provide a special experience for our students and family members participating in our programs. To ensure the quality of programming offered during Family Weekend, we DO NOT offer any refunds. We encourage you to make sure your family can attend Family Weekend before registering.

Does everyone attending Family Weekend need to complete the model release waiver and the liability release waiver?
Yes, each participant, INCLUDING the Georgia Tech student, parents and guests that are participating in Family Weekend, are required to have a completed liability form and model release waiver.  To view and print the forms, click on the links below.
